Jenson Lilgeberg

Jensen Liljeberg is a GACC alumni and former GACC dive coach. She began diving competitively for GACC and later for NODA (New Orleans Diving Academy). She competed and won gold at the 2012 AAU Junior Olympic Games. She is excited to coach again this summer and cannot wait to meet all of the new divers!


Jensen will begin her first year in August as an LSU Veterinary School student. She loves traveling, working out, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her family!

Swim Team Practice Schedule:

Group Swim Lessons (ages 2 and up)
Levels - Beginner to Advanced (classes grouped based on ability)
Description- These small group classes (3-5 swimmers) are devoted to teaching your child how to swim based on their abilities, experience and personality. Depending on skill level, your child will learn basic to advanced skills, including: bubbles, independent kicking, what to do if they fall in the water alone, jumping to instructor, pushing off of the wall independently, floating on stomach and back, independent breathing, freestyle technique, backstroke technique, breaststroke technique, butterfly technique, endurance, diving, and a joy for swimming and the water.

Private Swim Lessons
Levels- Beginner to advanced

Description- These lessons are perfect for swimmers who can already swim but need technique work on certain areas such as better technique for the 4 strokes, diving, flip turns, open turns, or otherwise. Private lessons are also ideal for parents who want their child to learn to swim more quickly, whose children have special needs, or whose children just need a little extra attention and focus during their learning time.
Adult Swim Lessons
Levels- Beginner to advanced
Description- It's never too late to learn how to swim or brush up on your swimming skills! These private lessons are catered to the needs of adults, whether you are overcoming your fear for the water for the first time or you are training for a marathon, we can teach you the best methods and skills for reaching your goals.

Coach Lemoine moved back to New Orleans to study at the University of New Orleans, and continued his coaching career as an assistant coach for Southern Louisiana Swim, as well as head coach for Kenner Discovery High School’s inaugural swim team as well as the track team

Meredith Zorn

Meredith Zorn is a GACC alumni and former GACC dive coach. She began diving competitively for GACC and later for NODA (New Orleans Dive Academy). She competed and won silver at the 2012 AAU Junior Olympic Games. She is thrilled to be coaching again this summer and is looking forward to meeting future interested divers!

​Meredith is currently a student at LSU, majoring in Kinesiology. She is a lifeguard at GACC and is shadowing at a Physical Therapy clinic. She enjoys everything outdoors and is always looking for new adventures.

Head Coaches Kaitlyn Strecker and Taylor Lemoine are available for swim lessons this summer. Lessons are available to all ages and abilities, from learn-to-swim to stroke technique lessons, for members and non-members alike. Kaitlyn Strecker

Coach Kaitlyn Strecker is a GACC alumni and former GACC Assistant Coach! She first began competitive swimming with CCSC and then swam for Mount Carmel Academy during high school. She has had experience with swimmers of all ages and abilities and has been a learn to swim instructor while coaching at GACC.

​Coach Kaitlyn is currently a 2nd grade teacher in Jefferson Parish. She earned her degree in education from LSU. In the fall, she will begin the Master’s program at LSU for Education Leadership. 

Taylor lemoine

Coach Taylor  learned to swim by being thrown in a pool. From there, he swam for over ten years on the Green Acres Country Club swim team, as well as five years on the Brother Martin High School swim team and a brief stint swimming for Southern Louisiana Swim Team. After graduating from Brother Martin with multiple letterman awards, Coach Lemoine ran two years of Division II Cross-Country and Track for Mississippi College, where he received an athletic scholarship as the only team walk-on. Green Acres Swim & Dive Team

Summer is coming fast and it is time to register for the Dolphins Swim and Dive Teams.  Please join us on Saturday, April 7th, from Noon to 2pm to sign up and meet our coaches. Let's welcome back swim Coach Kaitlyn Strecker and our new co-swim Coach Taylor Lemoine.  Aquatica Sports and Fitness will be there to fit you for your swimsuit and outfit you with all of your swim and dive team needs!  We will only have one fitting so be sure to attend so your suit can be ordered.
